THE EVENT WAS ATTENDED BY VORONEZH REGION GOVERNOR ALEXANDER GUSEV, DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER OF THE REGION VIKTOR LOGWIN, STATE DUMA DEPUTY ARKADY PONOMAREV, GENERAL DIRECTOR OF "MOLVEST" COMPANY ANATOLY LOSEV, GENERAL DIRECTOR OF "ECOKORM" VLADIMIR MANUILOV AND OTHER GUESTS.
The plant is intended for the production of loose compound feeds of varying degrees of complexity. Its capacity is 20 tons per hour, or 120 thousand tons per year. The equipment allows cleaning and grinding grain and meal raw materials, mix them with mineral additives and cakes, and finally ship finished products by trucks.
The construction of the plant started in August 2018 and finished July 1, 2019. Then commissioning activities were carried out within only a month. Currently the plant is ready to produce at full capacity.
The Governor noted that this plant is a good answer to the skeptics who believe that potential for agraricultural sector development in Voronezh region is practically exhausted.
– The development of animal breeding, including dairy farming, in Voronezh region is moving forward. One of the promising areas is the processing of agricultural products that we produce on our territory. The plant is a vivid confirmation of this. Our task is to make sure that further development goes in the same direction. The territory of Anninsky district is an example of complex development – both economic and social. We will not slow down the pace of development and will make sure that the tasks we set up will turn into objects that will work for the people living in this territory, – said the Head of the region.
Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Arkady Ponomarev noted that the new plant is of great importance both for Anninsky district and for the whole region:
– First of all, it creates new jobs, new infrastructure, a stimulus for development. We have closed production cycle – we raise livestock, produce feed, receive milk and produce dairy products. We plan to increase the level of selection and genetics. Agricultural products here are processed and used both for our own livestock and for sale. The sales geography is quite extensive – the Black Earth Region, the North-West Region. Currently we are actively working on supplying products to Asian countries. We achieved all this in three years and hope for further development.
– “Molvest” today opens a new compound feed factory with the capacity of 20 tons per hour, or 120 thousand tons per year – this is a large volume. The need for this factory appeared last year. We had to provide not only our livestock with high-quality feed, which has grown from 25 thousand to 28 thousand cows since last year, but also to supply feed to our partners. Half of the feed will go for our animals, half for sale. The equipment allows producing feed according to the required standards – with additives to improve milk yield. The plant will employ over 30 people. The plant is mostly automated, but it needs personnel for transport and infrastructure,” – said Anatoly Losev, General Director of “Molvest”.
“EcoKorm” LLC was founded in 2016. Since its foundation the plan has produced 109.5 thousand tons of compound feed. At the moment, in addition to using products for its own needs, the company sells them to third-party purchasers.
