At EkoKorm’s site there are grain storage silos with a capacity of 30,000 tons and a transport line able to processe 100 tons per hour.
Grain silos
The grain silos are complex of buildings including: operator’s room, a cluster of storage silos, a device for loading and unloading grain, a grain dryer, etc.
Metal storage silos have a capacity of 5 thousand tons
Grain from the reception hopper is lifted by conveyors and bucket elevators into grain separators, get cleaned of impurities, dried in a grain dryer and sent along the upper conveyors to storage silos. After that the grain is unloaded onto the lower conveyors through holes with funnels in the storage silos bottoms. All silos are equipped with an active ventilation system. The grain temperature is measured by temperature transmitters installed at different levels.
When processing products, we use raw materials grown on our own farmland (sunflower, soybeans, rapeseed, corn, barley, etc.).
